Gwen Stefani’s style is known for being a mix of Southern California cool, London punk, Old Hollywood glam, sport centric tomboy (shoutout to her signature Adidas sweats), and modern, avant garde fashion plate.
For Gwen’s newest album artwork for This Is What The Truth Feels Like, we decided to embrace yet another side of the Queen of Cool: timeless bombshell. Inspired by vintage photographs of Marilyn Monroe, the looks are feminine, sensual and classic: nude fishnets, a black turtleneck paired with high waisted gingham pants, a simple white tank, layered lace. Like the album’s title, we wanted Gwen to look stripped down yet alluring and sexy. Down to basics. Because what else is more authentic than simplicity?
If you haven’t already, buy the album on iTunes. You won’t regret it.
