Banksy’s newest pop-up art installation in Weston Super-mare, UK is a dystopian take on a children’s theme park that promises to be “the UK’s most disappointing new visitor attraction.”
The usual suspects for amusement are in tow: a ferris wheel, mini golf course, fair games, carousel, and park employees. Yet this certainly isn’t Disneyworld. Nor is it even the much eerier Willy Wonka factory. With themes ranging from the apocalypse to anti-consumerism, the un-amusement park boasts an assortment of artwork from 58 artists, 10 from Banksy himself and 24 short films.
